WELCOME TO JULIA'S CHILD DEVELOPMENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Your child will be exposed to specially designed age appropriate 21st learning programs filled with creative appropriate technology and traditional fun for early educational development. Children from 2 years through 5 years of age are welcomed from Monday through Friday. In keeping with childcare ratio, our facility accommodates eight children in a classroom setting. Children from 6 years through 12 years of age are also welcome from Monday through Friday for the Before/Aftercare Program (Early Reading and Math Intervention; Improving Written Responses; and Homework Assistance) which include Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth Grade Classrooms.

JCDEP recognizes that there is a high rate of struggling early learners in Prince George's County that need to be brought to grade level in Reading, Mathematics (Math), and Writing ability. This project focuses on conducting Reading and Math Interventions with Improving Students Written Responses for struggling students, by using interactive reading, mathematics sites, such as Internet4Classrooms, Starfall, and Inspiration. These technology base solution resources provide early literacy skills, inclusive of game, and other technology based solutions, that are classified by grade level and academic objective to help children learn early reading, mathematics, and writing skills. Students will be required to spend a specific amount of time in their learning areas, interacting with the programs to increase reading, mathematics, and writing fluency as they hear and practice more appropriate reading, mathematics, science, technology and writing examples.
